Psalm 108:1-6
GOD’S GLORY OVER ALL THE EARTH
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth. Psalm 108:5, KJV
David was a man of many qualities. He was a king; a warrior; a songwriter; an instrumentalist; a worship leader; and above all, he was a lover of God. He looked at his life and amazingly concluded: “my heart is fixed, I will sing and give praise, even with my glory” (verse 1). He beheld the wonders of God, both in creation and his own life. So, he determined to praise God irrespective of the attitude of people around him. Two reasons accounted for his habitual praises to God. First was the ceaseless mercy of God (verse 4). Second were the wonders of God all over the creation (verse 5). David affirmed that whenever a man praises God wholeheartedly, three things happen – deliverance, salvation, and answers to prayers.
As Christians, we should reflect on the mercies of God upon our lives. By the time we meditate on His goodness, it will be difficult for anyone to stop us from praising Him. Have you been waiting in the place of prayers for anything? Try praises, you will see the hand of God. Whenever you praise God, His glory covers the earth. Try it now.

BIBLE VERSE FOR THE DAY
“When he heard this, Jesus
said, ‘This sickness will not
end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son
may be glorified through
it’” (John 11:4 NIV). *******************
QUOTE FOR THE DAY
Our life and blessing is to
bring God glory. Delay is not
denial. When our blessings
are delayed by God it is to bring greater glory to Him. -
