This is not the best of times in the home of the Director General of the Campaign Organization of the Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Alamkura, Musa Illu, as his pregnant daughter, Amina Suleiman, was murdered by some unknown assassins at the weekend.
According
to the Premium Times, the late Amina who was 7-months pregnant, was
found in a pool of her blood with her neck sliced and a knife stuck in
her bulging stomach.
Her uncle, Namairo Babai, who
is her father's younger brother, reported that the lady was killed in
her home in Katsina State while her husband, Suleiman Mohammed, was away
in Zaria where he is pursuing his doctorate degree at the Ahmadu Bello
University.
Babai said:
"Her
husband was on his way to ABU Zaria. After the weekend, when he tried
calling but couldn’t get her, he sent someone to check just to be told
that she was slaughtered and in pool of her blood."
The late Amina got married two years ago and was expecting her first child before she was cruelly murdered.
